Communicating with Members

Thursday, 9 September 2010

The Swans Trust are committed to communicating effectively with our members through a number of different means. We have just launched Trust TV, we do a bi-annual printed newsletter, we have a column in the matchday program and we also have a column within the South Wales Evening Post.

The trust has over the last 6 months added 2 new ways of communicating which enable us to ensure our members are kept completely up to date on new events, news and initiatives.

These are through e-Newsletters and also through SMS. The Trust use a database and communications system run by Board Member Jim White's company Customers Really Matter and so ensure we abide by the rules of the Data Protection Act for e-Communications.

This means that no member data is passed to any other organisation and if you decide that you don't want to receive messages anymore (either through email or on SMS) you can unsubscribe.

Email Newsletters
If you would like to ensure you receive e-Newsletters such as these from the Swans Trust then please add info@swanstrust.com onto your safe senders list.

If you are receiving communications from the Trust and want to be taken off our communication list, then please use the 'unsubcribe' link at the bottom of all e-Newsletters which go out and you no longer receive e-Newsletters from the Trust.

SMS Messages
The trust believes that SMS messages are a safe and easy way to communicate with members.

You will always know that the message has come from the Swans Trust as it will indicate this at the start of the message.

You are not charged for receiving the message
You can unsubscribe from receiving the message by replying 'Stop' to the message. This will then ensure you do not receive future SMS messages from the Swans Trust. Sending this message will not cost you anymore than your standard network tariff for sending messages

Hopefully the information above shows each Trust member and Swans fan that the Trust is committed to communicating with its members but doing so in a safe and trusted way. If you have any questions about our communications and how they work, please contact the trust at info@swanstrust.com
