Huw Cooze - Supporter Director

Wednesday, 8 September 2010

Swansea born and bred, a graphic designer by profession with a 30 year career in the print environment. I can often be found burning the midnight oil on many Trust ventures. I can’t remember my first game but I can clearly remember supporting Swansea Town so it must have been in the late 60's.

As a member of the Board I try not to miss a game both home or away, I see my position where I can work for the club and the Trust in equal measures and bring the supporters and club officials even closer together, I would like to  think that we've made massive strides in this. I am always looking at ways of increasing our fan-base. (suggestions are more than  welcome).

Favourite Player(s): Seeing a young Curt and Robbie develop from  rookies into the real deal, to this day I can't choose between  them as to who my favourite player was.

Favourite Swans moment: It must have been a trip to Paris back in the  80's to watch us play PSG, it was a hard, gruelling trip in which we  had no sleep from Tuesday 'til Thursday and we lost but it was worth it.

Least Favourite moment: Must have been seeing John Buchanan's  equaliser in a 3-3 draw we had with our near neighbours on December  27th 1980.
